Code of Conduct

We at Aarhus Vocal Festival are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive safe space for all that may participate. In order to do so we provide you with this Code of Conduct which outlines our expectations for behavior and interactions within the festival.
With everything that’s going on in the world we want to remind you that AAVF is not a political festival and we welcome everyone no matter their background, religion or culture. We want to come together and create a safe space to make music and sing together.

As we value diversity and being respectful toward one another, we ask that you agree to follow these guide lines, and thereby participate in making a positive and supportive environment for the festival. If you experience or see something that doesn’t seem right to you, please feel safe enough to approach someone from AAVF team.

7. Consequences:

Violations of this code may result in warnings, temporary suspension from activities or removal from the festival, depending on the severity and frequency of the violation.

Consequences will be determined by AAVF organizers.

If you witness or experience a violation of this code, report it to the organizers of the festival and we will investigate and take appropriate action.

By adhering to this code of conduct, you play a vital role in creating a safe, welcoming and respectful environment for everyone at AAVF. We believe that the music and shared experiences will bring everyone together, and your commitment to these principles will help us achieve this goal. Thank you for your dedication to a harmonious AAVF experience.
