Airo is a rhythmic a cappella choir from Aarhus with 35 singers, directed by Margrethe Debel. Their repertoire spans broadly, and with us, they value experimentation, play, and VOPA (Vocal Painting) as highly as rehearsing beautiful choir arrangements. Airo emerged in 2016 from a desire to create open musical spaces where one can develop musicality in a challenging and different way – both as an individual and as a choir.
