Annemarie Homan is a Dutch singer, arranger and choir conductor (and also has a day job in automated software testing). She has been making music for as long as she can remember, playing the organ and singing in the local church choirs as a child and teenager. Her love for close harmony singing started when she went to study psychology at the University of Utrecht and joined the students close harmony choir. She sang with top groups such as Dekoor, Vocalicious and Ambrosia and is currently studying Vocal Leadership at the Royal Academy of Music Aarhus/Aalborg.
At AAVF she will be conducting The Single Singers. The seemingly simple concept of The Single Singers, developed by Annemarie and Emily May ‘t Hoen, has proven its strength over the years. Bringing singers together from all over the world to sing a few songs together and to build great new friendships. And in 2022 The Single Singers will be back in Aarhus for the fourth time, making more music, and building even more friendships.
