Christina Liljeroth’s heart is beating for every kind of encounter between yoga and music. She holds an MA in Musicology from the University of Copenhagen as well as extensive teacher training in voice rehabilitation (The Anne Rosing Institute) and yoga (Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin). After six years of research at the university, Christina founded her own clinic in Copenhagen called Yoga for Singers, where she offers both private consultations and group sessions to singers, conductors, teachers, actors and others who work professionally with their voice.
Moreover, she runs workshops all over Denmark as well as regularly returning to her hometown Oslo to teach and play with her yoga band Yoga Sheiks. In addition to her deeply founded interest in the potential of the human voice, Christina masters a range of instruments such as ukulele, piano, drums and singing bowls, and she’s a dedicated explorer of the element of freedom in body, mind, voice and breath.
