Mariagerfjord Pigekor is a rhythmic girl’s choir out of the ordinary. The choir is a well-known
face at AAVF and counts already many memorable performances at the festival throughout
the years. Get ready for their performances at Saturday’s AAVF concert HumaNature – A
Vocal Journey, where they will mesmerize you with their young, energetic, and passionate
voices.
Mariagerfjord Pigekor is part of Mariagerfjord Kulturskole that hosts choirs for all ages and
levels at the heart of the beautiful Mariagerfjord region. A school that is a true hub for choir
singing in the region and an acclaimed choir center both nationally and internationally.
Together with their conductor Christian Fris-Ronsfeld, the choir won the “European Voices
Award 2022” from the European Voices Association for their remarkable and innovative
pedagogical work.
