Marlou Vriens is a singer, songwriter, composer and a vocal leader.
In 2009 she graduated Music in Education at Codarts conservatory Rotterdam.
In 2020 she graduated the Master Innovative Rhythmic Choir Conducting at the Royal Academy of Music in Aalborg.
She works for Codarts conservatory as a voice and choir teacher.
For Vocal Leadership she teaches voice, voice theory, and composition and arrangements for Vocal Leadership in School.
Her latest EP release is Vəʊkəˈliːz.
Marlou Vriens composed the accompanying music for dance performances WoMAN,
Garden and Landscapes by HIMHERANDIT Productions, Bora Bora Dans og Visuelt
Teater in Aarhus. WoMAN and Garden were both nominated for the Årets Reumert
Awards, in 2017 and 2018.
