Noa Gruman is the founder and leader of the Metal choir – Hellscore, a pioneering choir, numbering ~45 metal singers. Since forming the choir in 2016 she has written a cappella arrangements for a repertoire of classic and modern metal songs, which the choir records and performs.
Hellscore also regularly works with leading metal acts, having been featured by Therion, Amorphis, Orphaned Land, Ayeron, Patty Gurdy, Scardust and others.
Noa is also an accomplished singer. she has performed with such acts as: The Israeli Opera, The Israeli Philharmonic, Finnish metal giants Amorphis, Oriental metal pioneers Orphaned Land, as well as her own critically acclaimed progressive metal band Scardust, and many others.
In AAVF 2019, Noa’s choir, Hellscore, won the ‘Most Innovative Arrangement’ prize in the choir competition. In this festival, Noa was also a guest speaker on the topic of Rock and Metal singing, along side the RAMA faculty.
