The Menagerie Club

With this theme, we explore the connection between mankind and nature – humans versus nature, humans in nature and human nature. Nature is described as something original and untouched, but also as the fundamental characteristic of something or someone’s essence. At the same time, our essence can change and develop in interaction with our surroundings. Creating and expressing ourselves through music has always been part of human nature, as individuals and as a community, and here the human voice and song have a special place, as a natural link from a person’s inner to the outer world and as a bond between people that gives form and language to express ourselves in the world we share. With this year’s theme HumaNature, AAVF wants to celebrate nature – that which surrounds us and that which is within us – through the rhythm and harmony that binds us together.
